As the authorised representative of the Act named above I hereby apply for Registration with Discos.uk.net on a Non Exclusive Agency Representation basis. I give permission for the Agency to maintain my / our personal and business details in any Data Retrieval system (electronic or otherwise) and to distribute by any means necessary such of those details as may be necessary for the purposes of promoting and/or obtaining work for the Act or for meeting the requirements of any relevant Legislation. The Agency may indicate that they represent the Act in any and all promotional materials and advertising they deem necessary in order to promote the services of the Act.

I have read and accept the Terms of Business of the Agency, and agree that the Act will adhere to those terms and to those contained in any contract issued in relation to any and all work arising out of our relationship. I understand that if the Act should wish to cease being represented by the Agency I can give a minimum of 30 days notice in writing. I understand that the Act will be required to honour any and all contracts negotiated and accepted prior to the expiry of such written notice. I undertake to ensure that any ongoing commissions or other financial remuneration due is paid to the Agency promptly and in accordance with their Terms of Business.

I understand that the members of the Act are jointly and severally liable for any obligations arising out of this commitment. I declare that to the best of my knowledge and belief the information given above is true and complete.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. DISCOS.UK.NET charge a fee in the region of 15% (included in the total fee), this is paid by the client in the form of a deposit.
  2. Deposits should be paid to DISCOS.UK.NET by the client within 7 days of receiving the contract in order to secure the booking. The DJ will usually be paid the outstanding fee by the client upon arrival at the venue. It is the Dj’s responsibility to ask for payment as per contract.
  3. In order to ensure that there are no non appearances or let downs, all verbal agreements are confirmed by the signing of a legally binding written contract. In the event of very short notice bookings, the written contract may be sent after the event for your records, alternatively a faxed copy may be sent,
  4. The display and / or presentation of any artists address and / or telephone number of any DJ at any engagement negotiated by DISCOS.UK.NET will be deemed as a breach of contract and may render the DJ liable to pay severe damages. Any dj giving out their own business cards at any booking negotiated by DISCOS.UK.NET will be removed from our books immediately
  5. All contracts are legal and binding between the client and the Dj, whilst every effort is made to ensure there will be no breach of contract by either party, DISCOS.UK.NET will endeavour to assist either party if a breach of contract occurs.
  6. If due to death, serious illness or urgent unforeseen circumstances a dj is unable to attend, DISCOS.UK.NET will endeavour to replace the dj with one of at least the same quality.
  7. The client and the artist agree that any future bookings (within 12 months) arising from any DISCOS.UK.NET booking will be booked through our office, this includes bookings from any third party attending the booking.
  8. Any agreement negotiated through this agency shall be subject to these terms and conditions unless agreed in writing by all concerned parties. In particular, any conflicting terms of business shall have no effect with respect to any such contracts. All contracts to which these conditions apply shall be Construed in accordance with English law.
  9. No servant or agent of this agency has the power to vary these terms and conditions.
  10. All djs on our rosta are self employed and are responsible for their own tax and national insurance contributions.
